2009 Event Art Retrospective

So a year has passed for Drink and Draw. Sort of... Hey, look don't get technical on me alright!? Anyway, I thought, in the light of the fantastic new year full of possibilities for the future, that it only made sense to keep looking in the past. So in that vein, here are all the great pieces made to decorate the invites for our meetings. Hopefully they will inspire everyone so that 2010 has the best Drink And Draw art ever! Enjoy Bros, and Bro-ettes...

First piece by Mark Mullaney (yours truly). A very simple illustration for the start of Drink and Draw, but if you look closely in the pencils eyes, you can see, reflected, all the exciting things that are coming!

This piece by Conor Napier, is very important in the history of Drink and Draw. Conor was lucky enough to win the very first art raffle, and was the very first person to make Drink and Draw promo art (aside from me)!

This incredibly classy piece was penned by the one and only Justin King. Justin poured blood, sweat and tears into this piece (and some other fluids I don't want to mention...) but it all came together into this great piece.

Marco Jimenez won the record for "Guy who did his piece the fastest" with this one. And not only did he get it done fast but it's also a perfect representative of his genius. Who doesn't love a drunk six year old, who loves drawing and is in desperate need of Ritalin.
